Nuts & Bolts Series
Without the intricate details delivered by nuts & bolts, no building could withhold its structure. DDT presents a dance essentials workshop geared to improve today's contemporary dance artist from novice to professional.

DDT believes in the marriage between theatre and dance. In today's entertainment industry, an artist who poses an "Internal Monologue" and can become a theatrical catalyst to any production are in high demand.
Come learn from DC's newest emerging choreographer and director Shawn Short as he leads dancers through a two hour workshop combining acting techniques and contemporary choreography.

Tired of falling out of turn? Jumps to fast to see how it’s done? Come check Dissonance's basics workshop to archive primary and intermediate jumps and leaps. Complete with ballet basic and fitness conditioning. Shawn takes aspiring dancers through step by step placement to achieve pirouettes en dehors and en de dans, beginnings of Grand Pirouettes, (Fuetes, Arabesque and A la Seconde turns).
