
Justin Bellamy
A Washingtonian, Justin began dancing at a very young age, in conjunction with his early training as a gymnast. A scholarship student of Ohio State University-Columbus, Justin started his training in classical ballet, modern, and African techniques. He has performed works by notable choreographers, including Robert Moses, Bebe Miller, and Larry Keigwin with performances in DC and NYC. Justin has trained on scholarship with Alonzo King's LINES Ballet in San Francisco, CA, and also in France where he performed works by Christopher Huggins. Mr. Bellamy has taught at BalletMet Columbus and around the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Jennifer Clevinger
Jennifer is a native of historic Frederick, Maryland. She began her dance training at the age of four at Dance Unlimited under the direction of Donna Grim, and she danced as a member of their Repertory Company for twelve years. Jennifer graduated from Shenandoah University in May 2009 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Dance. She has studied extensively under the instruction of Alan Arnett, Ting-Yu Chen, Kim Gibilisco, Elijah Gibson and Maurice Fraga. During her junior and senior years, Jennifer was president of the Epsilon Chapter of Sigma Rho Delta National Dance Fraternity, with whom she performed commissioned repertoire by Diane McCarthy, Jana Hicks and Curtis Uhlemann. In May 2009 Jennifer completed a PMA approved teacher training program at Shenandoah University and received her Pilates Mat Certificate under the instruction of Kim Gibilisco. In August 2009, Jennifer made her professional debut as a company member in KimGibiliscoDances in New York City. Jennifer is very excited to be dancing her first season with Dissonance Dance Theatre.

Alexandia Franklin
Alexandria is a Chicago native and migrated to DC to major in Fashion Merchandising at Howard University where she graduated in 2009. Alex has been dancing all of her life and has studied at the Alvin Ailey School and the American Ballet Theatre summer intensive in NYC. She has performed with The Bryant Ballet of Chicago, Joel Hall Dancers, The Washington Reflections Dance Company and currently dances for the NBA team the Washington Wizards as a Wizard Girl. Alexandria is excited to begin her first season with Dissonance Dance Theatre!

Caitlin Granville
Caitlin Granville is originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia, she began her dance training the Susan Chambers School of Theater Dance. She was a Georgia Governor's Honors alumnus. She continued her education at Shenandoah Conservatory, receiving a Bachelors of Fine Arts in dance performance in 2008. While in school she was chosen as a member of the Shenandoah Touring Ensemble under Kim Gibilisco and the international touring troupe Shenandoah Dance Ensemble. Caitlin performed as a soloist in Erica Helm's and Ting Yu Chen's works in Ireland and Spain in 2007. While in Spain she participated in the Estada de Danza summer workshop and InterTOURdanza. In Washington, D.C. she has performed with Momentum Dance Theater and is a returning company member. Caitlin is very excited to be joining DDT for another season! This is her 3rd season.

A native Washingtonian, Her professional training did not start until she was accepted at Duke Ellington School of the Arts, a pre-professional arts training program in Washington, DC. Tisa trained under the direction of Charles Augins, Sandra- Fortune Green, Katherine Smith, Treanna Alexander, and Nikki Sutton. Ms. Herbert has worked with notable choreographers such as Louis Johnson, Christopher Huggins, Kevin Malone, Bill Evans and Garth Fagan. She received her BFA in Dance from New World School of The Arts. While at New World, she studied with Bambi Anderson, Gerard Ebitz, Peter London, Tina Santos-Wahl, Arnold Quintane, Rebecca Cannon, Elaine Wright-Rourke, Dale Andree, and Laura Murphy. Tisa has performed in venues around Washington, DC and New York City. This is her 3rd season with Dissonance Dance Theatre.


Nicolette Jackson
Born in Northern Virginia, Nicolette Jackson began dancing at the age of six. She trained under a several teachers and attended the Virginia Governors School Summer Program. Nicolette graduated with honors from Towson University, receiving her B.S. in Business Marketing. While pursuing her degree, she was a member of the Towson Dance Team, twelve years consecutive college national champions. She has performed at many venues including the WJZ13 Morning Show, Women’s World Cup, and the featured film Step Up 2. In Washington, DC she has performed in the Capitol Fringe Festival, The Wiz at Jack Guidone Theater, DC Dance Collectives Showcase and NBC4s Fitness Expo. This is Nicolette’s third season with DDT.

Amy Scaringe
Amy graduated from Towson University in 2009 with a BFA in dance performance. While there she studied under Linda-Denise Fisher-Harrell, Catherine Horta-Hayden, Jaye Knutson, Susan Mann, Dana Martin, and Vincent Thomas. At Towson, she was also able to work with, and perform works by Chris Elam from Misnomer Dance Theatre, and Donald Shorter from Bill T Jones Dance Company. This past year, Amy has had the opportunity to perform throughout the DC metro area, as well as in New York. Amy is a former apprentice with Dissonance Dance Theatre. She is also a guest artist with Jane Franklin Dance Company, and Misako Ballet Company.
